This site provides information about kajak tours in Germany, a lot of pictures and other usefull or useless things. "Umtragen" itself is the word for carrying your boat from on lake to another. In areas where the use of motorized boats is prohibited this happens quite a lot. So you could end up walking up to 3 times a day. To cope with that missery we normally end up drinking a good wine in the evening :-).
